Ted's boat can carry up to three passengers. The cost is $75.00 for up to two persons and $25.00 for a third person. The duration is about one hour. A longer safari to the north end of the chain of lakes can also be arranged to visit the bear-man and to observe the wild bears coming to his feeding station. Click here for more info about the bears.
In the spring, the loons arrive here at the end of April or in early May, even before all of the ice is gone from the lakes but when there is some open water to land in. They leave well before freeze-up which comes in the middle of November. By the end of September one will notice that most loons have already gone south. Bald eagles, ospreys, beavers, bears, moose and many other animals and birds can usually be observed on Ted's safari. |
